Reform for Illinois
Hi, I'm Isaac, a public policy and history student at the University of Chicago currently in my fourth year. I've been a research intern with Reform for Illinois since September 2018, focusing on projects related to election administration and innovation.
RFI's mission means making sure that our voices as Illinoisans count. This is an organization that believes that votes, not dollars, should be the fundamental currency of democracy. Voting should be as easy as possible for all citizens, no matter who they are or where they live, and those same voters deserve to know who's financing the candidates on their ballots and the ads on their TVs.
Working with Reform for Illinois has taught me that state politics are much closer to home than I had realized. Your support this #GivingTuesday means that RFI can continue to do that important, necessary work to make our state a better place to live, work, go to school, or raise a family. -Issac
